The CTBUH 2025 International Conference in Toronto brought together 1,100 attendees from 40 countries and 432 companies, featuring 350 speakers across 82 sessions—a truly global exchange on the future of sustainable urban development.

During the Day 2 Plenary, constructsteel’s partnership was recognised for its contribution to advancing innovation, resilience, and sustainability in the built environment.

In his presentation “Decarbonising Steel: Goals & Gains for the Construction Sector,” Olivier Vassart outlined how the steel industry is addressing CO₂ emissions through the 4Rs – Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, and Remanufacture – demonstrating practical pathways to lower embodied carbon in construction today.
