In his presentation “Decarbonising Steel: Goals & Gains for the Construction Sector,” Olivier Vassart outlined how the steel industry is addressing CO₂ emissions through the 4Rs – Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, and Remanufacture – demonstrating practical pathways to lower embodied carbon in construction today.
