The composite solution was chosen considering not only the optimized best technical solution (building height, gravitational/lateral forces applied, lateral resistance system adopted), but also the total cost, erection time-consuming and time to get the raw material from providers as well.
Specific solution/technical details
The concrete core was built in a short time with steel boxes inserted into its walls containing reinforcing bars inside for easy and efficient connection to the slabs after the concrete curing of the core walls.
Impact or effectiveness
As usual, the composite solution of slabs connecting to concrete core provides the use of light weight profiles and lower plate thickness reducing the erection time and total cost.
