The constructsteel Annual Conference 2023 took place in Seoul, South Korea, on September 26th. The conference focused on the global opportunities for steel construction and aimed to explore relevant topics in the world of steel construction.
The conference program has been designed to address three key topics:
- Global trends in steel construction: the impact on global steel demand emanating from regional infrastructure projects and the transition to green energy will be discussed.
- Improvements in steel construction: views will be shared from the robotics industry on how productivity can be increased in the steel construction industry. At the same time, the engineering, design and construction industries will share their views on the steel construction industry.
- Mega projects: The issues of mega projects, including Turkey’s post-earthquake reconstruction, Ukraine’s post-war reconstruction, and India’s infrastructure development, will be addressed by government officials and experts from these countries who will also share their views on how the global steel industry may help.
The conference agenda also included the constructsteel Awards. The goal of the award is to recognise exceptional contributions in the steel construction industry, highlighting achievements in categories such as outstanding projects, innovative solutions, and sustainable practices.
